How to Format a USB Flash Drive Easily on Mac - Step by Step Guide With Screenshot

Hello friends in this article i am going to show you couple of very easy steps to format a flash drive on mac in GUI mode.

How to Format a USB Flash Drive Easily on Mac? 

• First on all connect a USB flash drive with your Mac Mini, MacBook or with Apple imac. Once you connect USB flash drive with your computer you are able to see your flash drive on deksop of your computer as showing in below image.

• Now on the top left side in menu click on Go>> you will get fourth last option>>Utilities click on it and open it as showing in below image.

• Once you open Utilities you can see Disk Utility double click on it and open it as showing in below image.

• Once you open Disk Utility from left side select your flash drive and on top menu click on Erase as showing in below image.

• Now its time format USB Flash Drive once you click on Erase from menu you are able to see option to change your Flash Drive name or select file system name. I suggest to choose ExFat for mac and click on Erase it will take few minutes to complete the task depends upon data on your USB Flash Drive.
